About Dr. Mohammed Osman
Dr. Mohammed Osman is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with specialized training in vascular and endovascular care. He joined Advanced Cardiovascular Specialists (ACS) in 2025, bringing years of experience and leadership from his previous role as the physician lead of the endovascular clinic at Mayo Clinic Health Care System in Southwest Wisconsin. Dr. Osman is board-certified in cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear medicine, and vascular ultrasound. He is passionate about caring for patients with a range of vascular conditions, including peripheral arterial disease, pulmonary embolism, deep vein thrombosis, varicose veins, and coronary artery disease. Dr. Osman is now accepting new patients and referrals.

Biography
Dr. Mohammed Osman earned his medical degree from the University of Khartoum in Sudan in 2011, where he was recognized with the “Best Academic Performance in Internal Medicine” award during his final year. He later moved to the United States to continue his medical training, completing his internal medicine residency at Michigan State University. He went on to complete a cardiology fellowship at West Virginia University, followed by advanced training in interventional cardiology at Oregon Health & Science University and a specialized fellowship in peripheral vascular intervention at Yale University.
Before joining Advanced Cardiovascular Specialists, Dr. Osman led the endovascular clinic at Mayo Clinic Health Care System in Southwest Wisconsin. A dedicated physician and scholar, he has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and has received numerous awards for both scientific research and academic excellence.
Outside of work, Dr. Osman enjoys spending time with his wife, Khansa, and their three children. Together, they love exploring Louisiana’s natural beauty and taking on family adventures. Dr. Osman is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care tailored to each patient’s needs.
