Following graduation, Dr. Jimenez completed both his internship (1998) and residency (2000) at the University of Chicago at Weiss Memorial Hospital. After his residency, he completed a Cardiology fellowship at LSU-Shreveport in 2004, then an Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center (Pennsylvania) in 2009.
Dr. Jimenez is Board-certified in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology, and he is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. He is also a fellow in the American College of Cardiology and The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
