Dr. Srikar Veerareddy is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Disease, and Internal Medicine. His specialty is Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr. Veerareddy’s practice involves the treatment of complex heart rhythm disturbances using pacemakers, defibrillation and catheter ablation techniques. Dr. Veerareddy has comprehensive training in implantation and troubleshooting of pacemakers, defibrillators, CRT devices, and lead extractions. He has performed complex ablations including ventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutters and supraventricular tachycardias.
Dr. Veerareddy attended medical school at Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal, India. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. He completed his fellowship in Cardiology at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, Shreveport, LA. Following completion of his cardiology fellowship Dr. Veerareddy completed a 2 year fellowship training in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan. After employment as an attending physician at Florida Hospital and a practicing Electrophysiologist, he returned to Shreveport and joined Ark-La-Tex Cardiology in August, 2011. Dr. Veerareddy is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Veerareddy is married to Dr. Deepika Reddy and they have two beautiful children.
